Toward an Integral Theory of Media - Medientheatralik & operative Vernunft
Plattform für fächerübergreifende Projektarbeit (Medientheorie und -praxis)
Das Internetcolloquium „Toward an Integral Theory of Media IV“ und die mit ihm verknüpfte Plattform „Diskurs: M.E.D.I.E.N.“ soll Studenten unterschiedlicher berlin-brandenburgischer Universitäten die Möglichkeit zur Projektarbeit und zum fächerübergreifenden Diskurs bieten. Ausgangpunkt des Diskurses und der aus ihm entstehenden Projekte ist die Frage, inwieweit Medientheorie dazu beitragen könnte, heutige Gesellschaft zu beschreiben und aktive Instrumente der Exploration und Intervention zu entwickeln. Ergebnisse oder Zwischenergebnisse der Projekte werden in Freien Radios, auf der Projektseite der Internetplattform, in Clubs und in Aufführungen und Installationen im formatLabor an unterschiedlichen Orten gezeigt. Jede Form der Distribution wird mit einer Form der Produktion einhergehen.
